Asset Management


The Business Library houses asset management-related content from numerous, global sources around the Euromoney Institutional Investor Group. This includes our magazines, journals and newsletters such as the flagship titles Euromoney and Institutional Investor, as well as Global Investor, Alpha magazine, the Journal of Portfolio Management and Global Money Management. There is additional content from International Securities Finance and Alternative Investment News, as well as the titles from the Hedge Fund Intelligence group – EuroHedge, AsiaHedge, InvestHedge, SouthAfricaHedge and Absolute Return, covering portfolio analysis, custody, pension funds, mutual funds, hedge funds and other alternative investments such as private equity and real estate.

Emerging Markets


As the emerging markets have become more and more a part of the financial world the various publications of Euromoney Institutional Investor have increasingly focused on them. The Business Library’s Emerging Markets Suite sources all these articles, giving access to the most relevant content from our flagship titles, Euromoney Magazine and Institutional Investor, and our more specialist Emerging Market titles such as Asiamoney and Latin Finance. The Suite includes articles from the relevant regional sections of our taxonomy including Emerging Markets, Developing Economies, Islamic Countries, and Pacific Rim Countries.

Energy


The Energy Suite includes content from several international magazines and online news and analysis providers within the Euromoney Institutional Investor Group, related to all aspects of energy, particularly oil, gas and power. This includes sourced business information from our highly regarded Legal Media Group - based in London - with correspondents also based in New York and Asia. Other legal titles include Compliance Reporter and AsiaLaw. Markets covered comprise international financial law (including capital markets), tax (including transfer pricing), intellectual property, energy, biotechnology, technology/telecommunications and media.

Transport


The Business Library’s Transportation Suite contains all articles dealing with transportation from the full Euromoney Institutional Investor portfolio of publications, particularly those dealing with Aviation and Shipping finance. Includes industry-leading titles such as AirFinance Journal, Project Finance magazine, Trade Finance magazine, Air Traffic Management, the Shipping Finance Annual and Euromoney Books’ bestseller Shipping Finance 3rd Edition. Also includes the Aircraft Economics magazine archive.

Full Taxonomy


Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC has customized a classification system (taxonomy) that fits with its published content. This enables you, the user, to browse our content, or refine your search by specific areas of interest.
The initial top-level categories are 'REGIONS' and 'SECTORS'.
'REGIONS' are split into 'PAN-REGIONAL COUNTRIES/REGIONS' which represent grouped countries of interest (e.g. 'Developing Economies'; 'Islamic Countries' etc.), and 'REGION SPECIFIC' which are established geographical regions (e.g. 'Africa'; 'Europe' etc.).
'SECTORS' are split into 'FINANCE', 'INDUSTRY SPECIFIC' and 'LAW, TAX, ACCOUNTANCY & AUDIT'.
